| Flying High : Premier Despatch have been awarded the British Airways baggage delivery contract for the next three years. Building on a partnership that dates back to 2005, this confirms our position as Scotland 's Premier baggage delivery agent. We worked with BA through the Glasgow Airport terrorist attack and the opening of Terminal 5, and our service record lead them to make this fresh commitment. We will represent them at Edinburgh , Glasgow and Aberdeen Airports .

We didn’t see it coming : Premier Despatch has been chosen by Southampton based Dash-It Couriers as its Scottish partner in trunking and delivery of items to opticians outlets in Scotland. Trunking from the midlands we will be providing a sameday delivery to hundreds of outlets.

Rugby : Hard luck to Scotland in the 6 Nations Championship! We were working for the promotions company for The Famous Grouse (an SRU sponsor) throughout the campaign, receiving, storing and managing promotional product and marketing material. Our extended opening hours, storage facilities and distribution options were ideal for the client’s requirements, as was our location, less than 4 miles from Murrayfield. |

Sport : The Premier Despatch rally team is heading for the isle of Mull today to compete in next weekend’s Tour of Mull Rally. Run over Friday night and Saturday, the endurance event features 150 cars. With a seeding of 89 the Milne/Watson crew hope to complete the course in their Audi TT, after they failed to finish the 2007 event.

New Business : Valued client Scottish Water have entrusted Premier Despatch to operate their Inverness distribution. Supplying locations as far apart as Wick, Skye and Peterhead, we are operating a replenishment service to their unmanned sites. Gordon Milne commented, “this strengthens our presence and range of services in the North, and builds on a 10 year partnership with Scottish Water”. |

New Premises : Our new Glasgow Airport warehouse was officially opened today. Offering 3000sq ft of warehouse space and increased control room capacity, it signals Premier Despatch’s ambitions in the West of Scotland. The new unit is on Airlinks Industrial Estate, offering direct access to both Glasgow Airport and the M8. Glasgow manager Colin Green said “we’re delighted to be in this new accommodation. It gives us the potential to offer different services to our clients and puts us on the map as a transport provider in the West”.
